It hasn’t been a good week for former ‘Clueless’ star Stacey Dash.
Earlier this week she was arrested in a domestic violence incident where she allegedly beat up her husband.
Arresting officers questioned her about her work and as she revealed who she was to them, the officers still had no idea who she was.
Apparently, the officers didn’t know if she was white or black either.
On the arresting police report, Dash’s race was mistakenly marked as her being white.
This according to TMZ.
Officers however stated that her race was marked in error saying,
“Stacey Dash was never asked her race by the arresting deputy, nor did she volunteer any information about her race. The arresting deputy assumed that she was Hispanic.”
For now, Dash’s troubles continue as she deals with a terribly, now public situation.
Stacey filed legal docs claiming she is indigent … meaning she doesn’t have enough money to hire a private lawyer. She’s asking to be repped by a public defender in her case.
