Some people enjoy the bright lights in the city but for Dwyane “The Rock” Johnson, he’s the exact opposite. According to TMZ, he recently dropped $9,014,000 on a home in Powder Springs, GA. He supposedly paid for this home in straight cash. (Word to Randy Moss)
This home is 46-acres and is 45 minutes south of Atlanta. It may be far from the city but it’s near Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Among the amenities in this huge home are eight bedrooms, a 12-stall barn, a pool that comes with a pool house, and a farmhouse that’s been there since 1867.
As far as why he wants to be in Powder Springs, The Rock recalled on a time when he was driving to Atlanta and reflect on how his life is crazy and he just wanted to live somewhere where he can slow down and breathe. This was after visiting his 88-year-old aunt in Jones County as well. There’s no doubt that The Rock has a very, very hectic schedule and being in a town like this is where he might need to be to just relax.
