Daniel Jones has been very ok as the New York Giants starting QB.
Jones through 8 starts is 2-6 with 15 TDs and 8 INTs; not exactly setting the world on fire.
He’s had his moments including his debut when he had 4 total TDs and 336 yards passing in a 32-31 win back in September.
Jones has “earned” the nickname ‘Danny Dimes’ but a certain section of fans.
The rookie QB out of Duke wants to protect himself and his new found nickname going forward.
On Thursday, according to Jordan Raanan of ESPN, Jones filed trademark for the catchphrase citing that 20+ companies have made unlicensed shirts not long after his first start.
