The Philadelphia Eagles lost an embarrassing game to the Miami Dolphins yesterday. They failed to jump into a tie for 1st in the NFC East, while also further nosediving into the pit known as disappointment.
Eagles fans were *rightfully* upset, so upset that one Eagles fan created a petition to make the team WALK home from Miami after their loss.
Obviously it would’ve never been honored, but it’s fun to examine to be quite honest.
From booing Santa, to booing franchise icons, Eagles fans are pretty ruthless.
This season was supposed to full of success. Carson Wentz was back and healthy, the Eagles had just came off of 2 straight playoff appearances, and the overall feel within the organization was positive.
But with Wentz not looking his best, the WR core being hit with injuries and just not being good enough, plus the secondary still being a weakness, the Eagles are nearing territory of having to sit at home for the playoffs.
