Poor Leonard Fournette.
Fournette was once one of the main faces behind a Jaguars team that had success but also brought a lot of swagger to the table. Now, most of his teammates who helped bring that fiery attitude to Duval county, are now gone. So instead of lounging around and leaving the job of player recruitment to the Jaguars’ front office, Fournette decided to do a little recruiting of his own.
He set his sights on Cam Newton, opening discussion for Newton to join Jacksonville and don the black and teal.
However, a certain member of the Jaguars media didn’t seem too pleased with Fournette reaching out to Newton. And as you would’ve expected, word of this reporter’s displeasure got back to Fournette, and boy he wasn’t happy whatsoever.
