Recently released pro-bowl running back Todd Gurley has just signed with the Atlanta Falcons for a 1 year deal.
There has been a lot of action going on in the NFC South division this offseason, with Panthers and Buc’s making moves that will change both their respective teams.
Gurley who was released yesterday from the Los Angeles Rams, was due to make over 10.5 million (injury guarantees) from the Rams that would have become fully guaranteed due to him signing a 4 yr $60 Million contract extension, with 45 Â Million guaranteed back in July 2018. This year he was due to make 17.3 Million towards the Rams salary cap.
The Falcons who released Devonte Freeman, add Gurley along with Matt Ryan and Julio Jones on the outside, make a formuable balanced offensive attack.
Gurley, who some thought lost a step last season, setback was mainly due to the Rams barely allowing him to touch the ball , with Gurley only rushing for 857 rushing yards to 4 touchdowns.
Look for Gurley to have a big upcoming season, due to him constantly saying he his 100 percent healthy and being back in the state of Georgia, where he played his college football.
