While many are still under state/government-mandated lockdowns, Germany, where track athlete Alicia Schmidt resides, has lifted their restrictions on its citizens and allowed them to again move freely as they, please.
This was welcome news for the highly attractive 800m runner Alicia Schmidt who is eager to reconvene her training regimen again, which she chronicled with a length Instagram post expressing joy for her restored freedom to work on her craft.
Alicia Schmidt has retired from competing professionally, but has kept her love for the track alive over the years, in 2008 she participated in the 2008 Beijing Olympics but found little glory as she was not able to advance further than the initial heat races.
Since 2014 Alicia Schmidt has pursued a career in the medical field and currently attends George Washington University Medical School.
