The University of Kentucky fired its entire cheerleading coaching staff yesterday after an investigation revealed multiple instances of alleged misconduct by the staff. The university cited the staff for failing to put an end to these happenings, and therefore canned the entire staff in the process.
The details of the incidents that led to the investigation, if true, seem reasonable for termination. However, there are always 2 sides to a story, and the reaction from individuals connected to the cheerleading program aren’t so sure their beloved coaches looked over such behavior.
It’s one big mess that, seems solved now, won’t truly be 100% worked out until further down the line.
