NBA Removing All Social Justice Messages From Courts and Uniforms in 2021 Including Black Lives Matter

NBA commissioner Adam Silver will look to eliminate social justice messages heading into the 2020-2021 NBA season.

Silver has worked his a** off to get the NBA back during the COVID-19 pandemic that paused the NBA season back in March. The NBA restart took place late July and while the preparation in the bubble was solid, off the court for black folks was a foot up their a** and police brutality.

In the wake of George Floyd’s death, NBA players worked alongside front office officials and those apart of the NBPA to approve of social justice messages commemorating black folks who died at the hands of white racists cops.

In a sit-down interview with ESPN’s Rachel Nichol’s, Silver expressed his thoughts on Black Lives Matter statements imprinted on the courts.

“My sense is there will be some sort of return to normalcy. That those messages will largely be left to be delivered off the floor. And I understand those people who are saying ‘I’m on your side, but I want to watch a basketball game,'” Silver said via ESPN.

It’s bull s*** especially if white folks got some nerve telling black people they want to fight with us but love black entertainment more than black education. Black folks are black before any label given and it’s ridiculous.

The NBA never cared about black folks since the restart. If it did, Jimmy Butler would’ve been able to wear his nameless jersey, Ja Morant wouldn’t have to apologize for the f*** 12 idea on his jersey and ownership in the NBA would be a heavy consideration for black folks who can’t purchase a team for over $1 billion. Just like WWE CEO Vince McMahon when s*** happens in the business, Silver is doing what he can to protect the brand of the NBA by removing what black people will continue to deal with.
