Bay Area rapper Cutty Banks name was recently cemented among the list of rappers who were tragically murdered as he passed away Dec. 19.
“San Mateo police were called to the Wells Fargo branch at 81 W. Hillsdale Blvd., across the street from Hillsdale mall, at about 9:25 a.m. for a report of a shooting, said public information officer Michael Haobsh. Officers arrived about a minute later and found a man lying in the parking lot with at least one gunshot wound. According to several eyewitnesses, Haobsh said, a second man had approached the victim on foot and shot at him about five times before running away,” per Mercury News.
Banks mother decided to create a GoFundMe for funeral expenses as the family mourns their loved one.
