Paris Fashion Week is supposed to be about designer outfits, expensive sunglasses, and people pretending they understand runway fashion.
Instead, rapper Cardi B and Nigerian goalkeeper Maduka Okoye became the news.
Months after her split from NFL player Stefon Diggs, Cardi was spotted at a Paris Fashion Week event sitting next to Okoye.

Not only that, but reports say the Nigerian shot-stopper even helped her take the seat beside him.

The two were later seen laughing and smiling together on a terrace in Paris, which was all the internet needed to launch a full-scale investigation.
Okoye and his fellow countrymen fell short in their bid to qualify for the World Cup for the second straight time — last appearing in 2018 in Russia, where they didn’t advance beyond the group stage.
Instead, he is part of one of the biggest fashion events of the year.
The 6-foot-6 keeper currently plays for Udinese in Italy’s Serie A league, and his outing with Cardi B comes five months after her breakup with Diggs, whom she shares a son with.
The former couple made their relationship Instagram official in June, and they ended things prior to the Super Bowl in February.
Neither Cardi nor Okoye has confirmed anything beyond existing in the same location at roughly the same time.
