You may or may not recognize Askren as the person who has been the fastest knockout in UFC history. In 2019 he fought Jorge Masvidal and was knocked out in just five seconds, the record still stands to this day.
Paul on the other hand has only had two pro boxing matches under his belt, and neither fighters were even close to pro-fighter. He has defeated YouTuber AnEsonGib in 2019 and more recently, former NBA Slam Dunk Champion Nate Robinson in July.
Paul takes boxing pretty seriously and has been making calls to fight tougher opponents and now Askren has answered. The two fighters will fight an eight-round match on April 17th according to ESPN.
