The Indiana Pacers dropped to an overall record of 17-21 after the Denver Nuggets won 121-106 on Monday night.
“Malcom Brogdon led Indiana with 24 and Justin Holiday had 19. Domantas Sabonis finished a rebound shy of a triple-double with 10 points and 10 assists. The start of the game was moved back an hour because the Pacers were unable to fly from Phoenix into Denver until Monday afternoon. A snowstorm that officially dropped 27 inches at Denver International Airport closed the runways from late Sunday morning. Four runways were reopened mid-afternoon Monday,” per ESPN.com.
In the fourth, the Nuggets climbed their way back from a four-point deficit in the third scoring 14 points to take a 101-91 lead.
“That quarter they had 35 points and shot 61.9% from the field,” Nuggets coach Malone stated.
Nikola Jokić finished with 32 points, five assists and 13 rebounds. Will Barton and Jamal Murray combined for 36 points with Denver shooting 46.4 percent from the field.
Indiana will have to figure out how to maintain leads with Brooklyn next up on their schedule at home.
