A security guard is in critical condition after getting shot at Lenox Square Mall.
Two 15-year-old teens were charged according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Investigators believe two teenagers attempted to rob a Lenox Square security guard and then shot him Sunday night, leaving him critically injured in the latest incident at the upscale shopping mall, Atlanta police said.
On Monday, the guard was recovering from his injuries after the third shooting at a metro Atlanta shopping mall in six days. The two 15-year-old suspects, a boy and a girl, were in custody at a youth detention center, according to police.
It’s sad that two young people would throw their life away when so much wisdom to gain in this world was at their fingertips.
Both are facing charges of aggravated assault, armed robbery, and tampering with evidence.
The security guard is still alive but is in critical condition.
