31-year-old Chicago rapper Londre Sylvester, recently spent some time in jail, at Cook County Jail. He wasn’t able to enjoy his freedom much at all though, as he was reportedly shot and killed, after leaving the facility, according to NBC 5 Chicago. Sylvester had just posted $5,000 bail, after it was originally $50,000. He violated his bail bond after reportedly not meeting the conditions of his release, which dates back to a 2020 felony gun case.
Sylvester was shot 64 times in the head and other areas of his body. When he was leaving Cook County Jail, he had just been fitted for electronic monitoring and was walking to a car that was picking him up. From that point, multiple suspects exited two separate vehicles and all began to shoot in Sylvester’s direction, striking him numerous times.”
The suspects soon quickly got back into their cars to flee the scene, and avoid police arriving. Sylvester ending up being pronounced dead at a local hospital. Dre reportedly went by his stage name, KTS Dre
