Way too many rappers these days are being killed at young ages, sometimes as young as 19. 21-year-old California rapper, Indian Red Boy, also suffered this tragic fate. This was as he was in his car, while on Instagram Live.
Red Boy was killed a few days ago, on July 8. He was initially speaking to a friend during the Live, and that’s when shots were soon fire. This went down at the 14100 block of Chadron Avenue at 4:10 p.m., according to Lt. Ti Goetz of the Hawthorne Police Department, per Sports Keeda.
LA County Fire Department also found him dead, when they arrived at the scene. Red Boy’s government name had been ID’d as Zerail Dijon Rivera. He was also found to have been shot five times in the head.
Red Boy reportedly had enemies, after disrespecting one of the Nipsey Hussle murals in LA, and Red Boy himself had been gang affiliated. At the same time, Red Boy had been pursing a career as a rapper, as he built up over 16,700 followers on Instagram.
This is a very unfortunate situation, as another artist lost their life due to bad associations and actions. Hopefully, more artists avoid conflict like this, and also move differently.
