Jason Kidd has been in hot water lately, after excerpts from a Giannis Antetokounmpo biography revealed how much Kidd mistreated the Bucks teams that he coached. He even went as far as canceling Christmas because of a loss to the Hornets. Now, Kidd’s son is coming out about how the two haven’t had a relationship at all over the last 13 years.
TJ Kidd explained how people keep asking him about him and his father and don’t know how Kidd is, due to them not speaking anymore. TJ revealed that Kidd divorced his mother in 2008, and he stopped talking to him then as well.
TJ added that he has no problem talking basketball with people but prefers not to speak about his father. He definitely sounds disappointed by this fallout and is still trying to recover mentally, which is understandable. Kidd recently got hired to be the new Mavs coach this summer, as well.
