Stephen A. Smith Defending Reports Who Made Naomi Osaka Cry at Press Conference

Stephen A is no stranger to going abasing the grain.

The latest example is him disagreeing with Naomi Osaka’s agent saying a reported bullied her after one of the questions that was asked.

The reporter asked how she balances not liking to deal with media and having a lot of outside interests that are served by having a media platform.

Osaka walked out and the agent sent out a statement calling the reporter a bully.

Stephen A. didn’t agree at all and said that the reporter was fair and delicate. He doesn’t think the reporter did anything wrong and was overall confused as to why the agent would say anything like that.

Can definitely see both sides.
