Beyoncé and Jay Z consistently give back to various communities, as recently, they’ve been helping HBCUs as well. Now, they are taking things a step further to help HBCUs in their latest partnership with Tiffany and Co.
The BeyGOOD and Shawn Carter Foundation are getting together with Tiffany to launch $2 million in scholarships for HBCUs around the US. This is to help students in creative fields. Some of the confirmed schools are Lincoln University, Bennett College, Central State University, and Norfolk State University.
Beyoncé went viral last month, as she became the first Black woman to wear Tiffany’s legendary 128.54-carat diamond. This was shown off in photos taken with Jay Z. This jewel was also worn by Lady Gaga last May. This diamond is worth $30 million.
