Project Pat recently made a guest cameo on Drake’s new album, Certified Lover Boy track Knife Talk has no spoke on why Drake’s dad will always have a pass when he is in Memphis.
Pat was talking about the CLB record, which was an old song Metro Boomin was holding onto and was originally supposed to be a song on 21 Savage’s album, but then once Drake heard the record, he called Pat and according to him, gave him the ‘Drake blessing.’
Once he started diving more into his relationship with Drake, he brought up the rappers’ ties to the city of Memphis through his father Dennis Graham, and whenever the rapper is down in Memphis, nothing will ever happen to him.
“I mess with Drake daddy, Drake daddy mess with everybody down here,” Project Pat said. “OG, he be downtown kickin’ it. Look — and the gangstas — ain’t nothing ‘gon happen to him. Nothin’. Ain’t nobody ‘gon mess with Drake daddy, bruh. Nobody, man. No, you ‘gon get flatlined. They don’t play that because, see, Drake show too much love down here.”
The Three 6 Mafia member said this is because Memphis is rarely ever shown love, and when it is shown, residents of the city show extreme loyalty to people who show love to the city.
