Whatever drugs Malik McDowell is on, keep everyone away from it.
When you are walking naked through a children’s school and have enough strength to beat up a cop while nude, you are on some powerful stuff.
I hope he gets the help he needs because this isn’t normal behavior. This is not the first time McDowell has run afoul of the law. In September 2017, he was arrested for DUI, and in December 2017, there was an allegation of disorderly conduct. In February 2019, he was charged with DWI, resisting arrest, and assault.
He previously was suspended for two games by the NFL for all these misdeeds, and this isn’t to mention him losing an entire season after an ATV accident.
Here is the latest thing that got him arrested.
Cleveland Browns defensive tackle Malik McDowell was behind bars in Broward County on Tuesday after authorities said he walked into a Deerfield Beach children’s learning center naked and attacked a deputy Monday.
McDowell, 25, faces charges of aggravated battery of an officer, resisting an officer with violence and exposing his sexual organs in public, court records show.
A judge found probable cause for the charges during McDowell’s first court appearance Tuesday morning.
Authorities say a learning center for children was in session when surveillance video shows McDowell going naked onto the property.
When the cop came to arrest him, McDowell allegedly charged at him like the cop was Ben Roethlisberger. The cop was left dazed and confused by being tackled by a large naked man at a school.
Of course, this all happened in Florida, and I am sure some fans will figure out a way to blame Baker Mayfield for this as well.
McDowell has had mental health issues in the past and this isn’t the first time he has fought a cop, so hopefully someone is looking out for him.
It isn’t even the offseason yet, and NFL players who aren’t in the playoffs are going wild.
