Olivia Fenton — an actor from New York claims that her boss catfished her and pretended to be a guy and even sent her flowers but before that, she had promised of hooking her up with her “best guy friend” little did she know that she was going to be catfished.
The Mirror has more:
She gave her ‘his’ number and the pair began texting and arranged a date – only for Olivia to be stood up. And when they planned a second date, she was stood up again as he claimed he was stuck in meetings.
A third date was planned and the guy said he came to the bar, didn’t see Olivia and left – then tried to come back to find her and “his train got stuck underground”.
At this point, Olivia had enough and told her manager she didn’t think things were going to work out between her and the male friend. A few months later at Christmas, the mysterious guy sent her a text again asking for one more chance and having nothing better to do Olivia agreed.
However, she was once again stood up at dinner as this time the guy claimed he’d been in a car accident. Bewildered, Olivia finally started to connect the dots.
“Did you also start putting the pieces together, like maybe it was your manager the whole time and maybe you found out she had a burner phone and used some random gay’s photos who lives in Georgia,” she explains.
“She also sent flowers to your house pretending they were from the guy and when you fact-checked the handwriting on the note with the flowers, her handwriting and his handwriting were exactly the same.” In a follow-up video, Olivia adds that she reported the incident to HR and her boss was fired.
She also found out this wasn’t the first time the manager had done something like this, she’d also done the same thing to a woman at a previous company she’d worked at.
This sounds like it should be a lawsuit right?
