Rapper Da Brat has announced to the world that she is expecting her first child with the Chief Executive Officer of Kaleidoscope Hair Products, Jesseca Dupart. They both made the announcement on the same day as Rihanna and A$AP Rocky announced their pregnancy. Congratulations to the couples.
In a joint Instagram post, dated for yesterday, Da Brat and Jesseca Dupart announced that they too were expecting a little bundle of joy. The post on social media was highlighted by a photo of Da Brat with her hands placed firmly on Jesseca Dupart’s pregnant belly along with the following caption, “We are EXTENDING the family.”
The exciting news was met with an outpouring of congratulatory comments from fans and celebrities alike. Da Brat is a Grammy-nominated rapper who achieved mainstream success in the early 90s with hit songs like “Funkdafied,” while Jesseca Dupart is the founder and CEO Kaleidoscope Hair Products. Their announcement comes nearly two years after they made their relationship public.

Jesseca Faye Dupart (born February 12, 1982) is an American entrepreneur and the founder and CEO of Kaleidoscope Hair Products. She was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and founded Kaleidoscope Hair Studio in 2013 in New Orleans as a single mother. Her salon burned down in December 2013 and she reopened it in July 2014 and introduced the Kaleidoscope Hair Products. In 2018, Kaleidoscope sales went from $100,000 a month at the start of the year to $1 million by the end of March.
In 2019 she was awarded the Key to the City of New Orleans by the mayor of New Orleans, LaToya Cantrell to recognize the philanthropy and business she has contributed to in the area.
Dupart already has three kids this will be the Da Brat’s first as we mentioned above.
