According to him on the Million Dollaz Worth Of Game podcast, he proposed to India Royale due to her low body count (the number of sexual partners she’s had).

“Everything about her, like being real, not cheating [made me do it].” “She ain’t been passed around. It was like her body count. That’s what really did it.”
People on the internet got furious and trashed him for his reason for popping the question to India Royale and she hit back to them.

Lil’ Durk’s comments quickly went viral and were met with mixed opinions on social media. Some didn’t see anything wrong with his comments, others thought it was low and also hypocritical coming from someone with six children by several women.
“Imagine ur fiancé being asked what he love about u & the first thing he brings up is ur body count etc,” one person tweeted, “not your personality, not your loyalty, not your sacrifices to him but your past relations. hearing this frm my man would not turn me on at all esp when his past is opposite.”
“Good thing he my man,” India Royale wrote back. The exchange comes roughly three months after the pair got engaged. Durk popped the question in December of 2021 onstage at a concert in his native Chicago. They have reportedly been together since 2017 and share a child named Willow Banks.
