Jim Thome’s Wife Andrea Says She’s Canceling Her Browns Season Tickets Because of Deshaun Watson

Many people were very upset that Deshaun Watson signed with the Browns for a record $230 million fully guaranteed.

It was announced that he wouldn’t face criminal charges for sexual misconduct but still faces lawsuits in the civil cases.

The latest to voice their displeasure with the Browns is Phillies legend Jim Thome and his wife.

Thome’s wife, Andrea, went to Twitter to let everyone know how unhappy they were with the Browns and say that they have asked the team to cancel their season tickets after 40 years as a fan. She says she believes women, especially when there are 22 of them, and nothing can change her mind.

She also said that she doesn’t know if they will give them a refund for the tickets, but if they don’t, she will auction off the tickets for every game and don’t the money to women’s crisis charities in Ohio.

The issue isn’t a woman being upset that Deshaun Watson was the QB of the Browns now. The issue is Jim Thome played with a lot of terrible teammates in his career.

The Browns have signed many questionable players in their history and have a statue of Jim Brown up at the stadium. Brown is a man who has admitted to throwing a woman off a balcony.

So my question to Mrs. Thome where is the line? It wasn’t at Kareem Hunt, but it is at Deshaun Watson? Did she ever demand a trade when Jim was forced to play with a bad teammate?

I understand why some would be upset with the Browns signing Deshaun Watson, but it seems the goalposts are being around a lot. You can’t be on TV slamming Watson when you celebrate Big Ben at every turn you get.

Those are just my thoughts.
