Young Dolph never had a chance.
Johnson must have been using an automatic weapon to shoot someone 22 times. Dolph was coming out of Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies when according to the cops, he was caught off guard and murdered.

The West Tennessee Regional Forensic Center released the autopsy report for the murder of a famed Memphis rapper. Adolph Thorton Jr., Young Dolph, was shot a total of 22 times, according to the autopsy.
The locations Young Dolph was shot include right back, center back, left back, right arm, left arm, left chest, left abdomen, right chin, right neck, right wrist and right shoulder, the report said.
Young Dolph was shot to death at Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies on Airways Blvd. near Ketchum Rd. on Nov. 17, 2021. Justin Johnson, aka Straight Drop, and Cornelius Smith have been charged in connection to the case.
Shundale Barnett has a warrant out for his arrest for his involvement in the murder. Two other men, Devin Burns and Joshua Taylor, have been named as persons of interest in the murder of Young Dolph.
Dolph was basically shot in every place he could have been shot at. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A man accused of killing Memphis rapper Young Dolph appeared in court again for an unrelated charge. Justin Johnson, also known as Straight Drop, is fighting a sex offender registration violation charge.
Judge Karen Massey relieved a public defender she previously appointed to represent Johnson on the charge. Now, his attorney for the murder case, Juni Ganguli, will also represent Johnson on the registration violation charge.
Ganguli was announced as Johnson’s attorney in criminal court for the murder case last Friday.
