Randy Gregory has deleted his tweet slamming Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, and according to Randy, Jones acted in bad faith. His deleted tweet read:
“Nope, your owners acted in bad faith all free agency. They’ve been awfully quiet lately huh? Wonder why lol Can’t wait for you guys to ask them the same questions!”
TPS has more on Randy Gregory blasting Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.
Dallas traded wide receiver Amari Cooper to the Browns and lost pass rusher Randy Gregory to the Broncos after he reneged on a deal that had in place. It appears he had a reason to do so as he stated in a since deleted tweet ripping the Cowboys owner.
After some backlash, he responded on Twitter, even calling the Cowboys out for having a toxic fan base.
“Nah that’s your toxic fan base that believe I owe them and their team something lol”
There is more:
After Randy Gregory reneged on his prior agreement with the Cowboys on Tuesday to sign a more lucrative long-term deal with the Denver Broncos, Jones was reportedly left “livid” by the last-minute change that caused the talented defensive end to continue his career elsewhere.
Gregory initially agreed to a five-year, $70 million deal with Dallas on Monday, but the team went back on that deal Tuesday before Gregory put pen to paper, reportedly approaching he and his representation with a new offer that contained parameters absent from their pact less than 24 hours earlier.
That was the straw that broke the camel’s back and Gregory headed out.
There is always drama in Big D. So much, so people aren’t even talking about Jerry Jones having a secret daughter he has been hiding for 25 years who is now suing him because she wants to hang in the owner’s booth with the rest of the family like she is Killmonger from Black Panther.
