Will Smith is overprotective of Jada Pinkett Smith and there are videos to prove this. In the heat of Will Smith landing a slap on Chris Rock’s face at the Oscars to please Jada Pinkett, a 2010 video of Will warning Spanish host Pablo Motos to be careful with the words he uses for Jada has resurfaced on the internet via the Daily Mail;
This is the moment Will Smith raises his hand to a Spanish TV presenter and warns him: ‘Careful with what you say to my wife’ as he put his arm around her.
Video footage from 2010 of the moment the Hollywood actor eyeballed Spanish broadcaster Pablo Motos from close range as he held Jada Pinkett Smith toward him resurfaced Wednesday after the 53-year-old star slapped Oscars host Chris Rock on stage on Sunday.
Motos, who hosts popular Spanish TV show El Hormiguero – which King Richard star Smith has attended several times, was about to start complimenting her on her beauty and professional success after giving the couple’s son Jaden advice on making it in the film business.
But the pint-sized host only got as far as pronouncing Jada’s name before the six-foot-two star raised his right hand and barked in Spanish: ‘Pablo, be careful with the words you use for my wife, OK?’
He then motioned to Motos to start talking while stretching his neck forward to show him he would be listening very closely to every word he was saying.
Smith replied: ‘Very good, very good’ as the Spanish star said he was not surprised at actress Jada’s success in Hollywood before telling her she was beautiful ‘outside and in’ after her husband had warned him again: ‘Cuidado, cuidado’ which in English translates as ‘Be Careful.’
The resurfaced clip has come into light following the now-infamous TV slap Smith handed down to Rock.
It seemed like Smith was kidding around but we can’t be too sure anymore.
