NBA fans want players to focus on nothing but basketball all year round and not enjoy themselves in the offseason when they don’t win.
Case in point, LeBron James.
The Lakers had a horrible season and didn’t even make the play in-game as a 10 seed. He had a pretty good season considering everything and pretty much carried the Lakers all year so he obviously wants to relax before he gets ready for year 20 in the league.
That’s not ok with a lot of fans. A video of him dancing in The Maldives went viral and fans did not like it at all because he’s not in a gym.
It’s ok for him to go on vacation with his family after having to focus on basketball for most of the year but fans only want him in the gym. Â It should be noted that Bron did say he would never miss the playoffs again.
Unfortunately for LeBron, it is sort of out of his hands.
He has to depend on Anthony Davis to make the playoffs as long as he is on the Lakers and the chances of that happening for an entire season is about 25%.
The best he can hope for is that if they somehow make the playoffs and Davis can stay healthy in the postseason.
It doesn’t look like Russell Westbrook will be around to help next season.
Next season like almost every season with LeBron at this point of his career, will have a lot of different faces than the year before.
The Maldives is very nice this time of year, so you can’t blame Bron for getting his dance on bad ankle and all. Fans are always going to be critical no matter what he does. I can’t wait for Skip Bayless to see this video, you know he will have a whole lot to say.
