Apparently, people take their golfing very seriously.
Or maybe it’s just Florida man Robert Levine.
Levine is facing an attempted murder charge after he shot Herbert Merritt for walking his dog on the Kings Point Golf Course.
According to Golf Digest, Levine was golfing when he saw Merritt walking his dogs on the course and that started an argument which led Levine to pull out his gun. Merritt obviously ran and that’s when Levine shot him in the ankle.
To make things worse, Levine then went to get a golf club and started to beat Merritt with it while he was on the ground.
Luckily, Merritt was taken to the hospital and was treated for non life threatening injuries.
Levine is facing a first degree murder charge with a firearm, aggravated battery, and firing a weapon on public property charge.
