Anthony Joshua Confront Students At College He’s Training At After They Heckled Him Over Tyson Fury

It’s been about 8 months since we last seen Anthony Joshua fight where he lost his WBA, IBF, and WBO titles to Oleksandr Usyk.

Most people expect there to be a rematch but no one really knows at this point. If there is a rematch, it’s believed that the winner of the fight would set up a super fight with Tyson Fury.

Eddie Hearn hopes that Anthony Joshua’s rematch with Oleksandr Usyk can be agreed upon to keep to the proposed July 23 date.

Hearn has said on several occasions that the late July date is currently in mind for the rematch after Joshua lost the IBF, WBA, and WBO belts to the Ukrainian back in September.

There have already been months of delays after Usyk returned to his homeland to defend his country from the Russian invasion. But he has since left Ukraine and is training to defend his three heavyweight championships.

If that ever happens remains to be seen but what some think is that Joshua doesn’t want to see Fury in the ring and he’s been ducking him for a while. That’s at least what some students at Loughborough University think.

Hearn has said before that Saudi Arabia is the leading candidate to stage the second bout but warned the DAZN Boxing Show that details would need to be finalized promptly to ensure the date was not put back again. A summer fight would allow the winner to face off against WBC champion Tyson Fury before the end of the year, assuming he does not make good on his promise to retire.

Hearn reiterated: “July 23, in the Middle East is the frontrunner. We’re almost out of time for that date if we don’t get the deal done this week.

While he was training there, a few students allegedly heckled him saying he ducked Fury and Joshua wasn’t happy at all. It apparently upset him so much that he confronted the students saying

“Remember you’re running your mouth because when I start cracking your glass jaws, none of you will like it,” Joshua says. “Watch your mouths because you don’t know who you’re talking to sometimes.”

Probably not the best look for him but it’s understandable.
