Stephon Marbury Says Stephon A. Smith is Jealous of Black Athletes Because He Couldn’t Make it To League

The Stephen A. Smith and Stephon Marbury beef have gotten more intense.

Marbury recently defended Kyrie Irving against Stephen A. which led Stephen A. to talk about how he won’t insult Marbury and told a story about him eating vaseline like it was cheeseburgers.

Now, Marbury has fired back saying he had a problem with Stephen A. when he was calling himself a source when Larry Brown was feeding him info that was lies he reported to build his reputation, and how he breaks down Black athletes for gain and fame.

This is something that was echoed by Kyrie Irving.

Kyrie went on a LONG twitter rant about media manipulation and if you can read between the lines you could clearly see he was talking about Smith.

“When I see my name or my brothers/sisters names getting spun through the media, I refer to all my research about who they are. Their job is to CONTROL PUBLIC PERCEPTION, all while profiting off discussing, discrediting, and disrespecting people’s lives for entertainment,” Irving wrote. “I send shots at the puppet masters, not the puppets. All puppets do is run around society, trying to gain popularity and state opinions. What a life! My name is worth billions to these media corporations. My brothers and sisters who deal with this know exactly what I mean.”

I am not sure about billions but he isn’t wrong.

In today’s sports media the money is made off drama. That is media in general, no one is getting rich off feel good stories, It is the reason political media HATED that Trump lost the election.

The people making the most money in sports media are the ones that are the loudest and wildest takes. Those are the ones that drive the ratings and keep the money flowing.

Kyrie called Stephen A. a puppet and in a way he is. Whatever ESPN is paying him they are making much more money on the back end off his bluster.

Doesn’t seem like this is going to end soon.
