The Lakers’ LeBron James is still professing his love for the Warriors and this time around, he did it in a teaser trailer for the latest episode of his show “The Shop”. He showered praises on the Warriors and claimed that “he would definitely want to play with the current NBA Finals team”.
According to Side Action;
LeBron even revealed that one of the main draws would be playing with Draymond Green. LeBron spoke about his love for Draymond Green.
“It’d be Golden State,” LeBron said. “I would love to get into a pissing match with Draymond [Green]. I love when somebody cuss me out.”
Steph Curry has already pretty much spelled it out, he has no intention of ever playing with LeBron other than during an All-Star game.
LeBron would really be ring hunting if he jumped ship from the Lakers to the Warriors, but we know that’s never going to happen.
Remember when they asked Steph Curry about this and he was like “no thanks”.
With LeBron James taking heat for the acquisition of Russell Westbrook that led to the Lakers officially failing to make the play-in this season in one of the biggest disappointments in recent memory, it’s only natural to speculate on the changes Los Angeles will make to its roster before next season.
Social media has been buzzing over James’ comments in an upcoming episode of “The Shop” when he was asked who he would most like to play with in the NBA. James’ first answer was his son, Bronny James, currently a junior in high school. When asked about which current NBA player he’d like to team up with, he said Stephen Curry.
“In today’s game, sh– there’s some m—–f—— in today’s game, but Steph Curry,” James said. “Steph Curry’s the one that I wanna play with for sure, in today’s game. … I love everything about that guy. Lethal. When he get out his car, you better guard him right from the moment he pulls up to the arena. … You might wanna guard him when he get out of the bed. Swear to god. He’s serious.”
Hours later, Curry was asked to respond to that, but it does not appear the feeling is particularly mutual.
“Well, he got his wish. He’s the captain. He’s picked me the last two All-Star Games. I don’t know if that suffices, but I’m good right now. I’m good right now,” Curry said of potentially playing with James during an appearance on 95.7 The Game.
