Judge Allows Henry Ruggs III’s Blood Test As Evidence In Car Crash Case That Killed Tina Tintor & Her Dog

In Henry Ruggs III’s deadly crash case, a judge has ruled that the results of a blood-alcohol test taken from the former Raiders wide receiver will be allowed as evidence in his deadly DUI crash case.

According to 8NewsNow;

Ruggs, 23, appeared along with his attorneys in a Las Vegas courtroom Tuesday morning. David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld argued there was no probable cause for the police to obtain a warrant to draw Ruggs’ blood following the fiery crash that killed Tina Tintor, 23, and her dog on Nov. 2, 2021.

Judge Ann Zimmerman denied the motion and said there was “more than sufficient evidence” to issue a warrant for a blood draw.

Ruggs is charged with DUI resulting in death, DUI resulting in substantial bodily harm, and two counts of reckless driving resulting in death or substantial bodily injury which are all felony charges. He was also charged with a misdemeanor count for possession of a firearm while under the influence.

Court records state Ruggs was twice the legal limit for DUI and speeding at 156 mph just before he struck Tintor’s car causing it to burst into flames.

Henry Ruggs III still remained under house arrest.

It might be time for Ruggs III to consider a plea deal.

The coroner has determined that the victim in the Henry Ruggs III DUI crash, Tina Tintor, burned to death. Reps from the Clark County coroner’s office told news outlets Tintor “died from thermal injuries due to a motor vehicle collision.” Other contributing causes to Tintor’s death included, “inhalation of products of combustion, fractures of the nasal bones, right-sided ribs, and left forearm, and a left hemothorax.”

Ruggs was reportedly traveling at 156 mph in his Corvette seconds before he crashed into the back of a Rav4 and caused the Toyota to burst into flames. In the above video, Ruggs’ girlfriend, Kiara Washington, is seen holding and consoling the professional football player.

“OK. OK, here. I’m sorry. I’m sorry,” she told Ruggs before he responded, “F***!!! Stop yelling!!!” After one witness is heard telling a responding officer who Ruggs was, Washington is heard panicking as Ruggs starts to lose consciousness.

“Can we get help?!?” she yelled. “Can you please help him!?! He is knocked unconscious!”

Ruggs reportedly had a blood alcohol concentration level more than two times the legal limit and had a gun in the car. The 22-year-old is facing up to 2-20 years for his charge of DUI resulting in death, and an additional six years for a second charge of reckless driving.
