Sha’Carri Richardson Reignites “Beef” With Allyson Felix By Doing This

Sha’Carri Richardson’s “beef” or whatever it is with Allyson Felix doesn’t really make sense.

Richardson shot into the spotlight last year after she won the US Olympic trials for the 100m in impressive fashion. She then was disqualified, which was a ridiculous decision, for marijuana use after the death of her mother.

Things haven’t really been the same for her since because she didn’t qualify for the World Championships in the 100m or 200m for the US. She did watch though.

She saw, or heard about, the US Women qualifying for the 4x400m relay final in impressive fashion and posted about it on her IG. Except for one little thing, she cropped out one of the sports goats, Allyson Felix.

Felix wasn’t supposed to run in the relay but the American coach called her up and said they need her so she hopped on a plane to fill in and help lead the team to the final.

Richardson’s beef goes back to last year after Felix gave her some words of encouragement after the Olympics, where she won her 11th Olympic medal. Richardson didn’t really like that for some reason because after seeing what Felix said she responded by saying, “encouraging words on tv is just as real as nothing at all.”

“She’s obviously been through so much,” Felix said I hope that people rally around her. Obviously she has a great personality and she’s brought a lot of attention to the sport. I think she’ll be in the sport for a very long time. I think more than anything, for all athletes, there’s so much that goes into it — we just, you know, give her the support that she needs.”

From the outside looking in, it seems like Richardson would have rather Felix contact her personally to give words of encouragement instead of on tv. Either way, it doesn’t seem like she’s over it.
