Jerry Jones On Kelvin Joseph Getting Involved In Fatal Drive-By Shooting and Why They Didn’t Cut Him

Jerry Jones has a piece of stern advice for Kelvin Joseph after he got himself involved in a fatal drive-by shooting. Jerry wants Kelvin to clean it up. TPS has more;

Kelvin Joseph was recently cleared in a murder investigation that stemmed from the death of a 20-year-old man back in March.

Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones recently spoke out about his message to the Cowboys cornerback. He admitted that the team weighed its options before choosing to stick with the former Kentucky and LSU standout who was a 2021 second-round pick.

“We obviously don’t need our players to be involved in situations that make this come up about your character,” Jones said, via the official Cowboys website. “He needs to be a good player on and off the field and we’re going to give him a chance to do that. (Our message to him is) Now get in here and be a good player, be a guy everybody depends on, and make your name in a positive way and clean it up.”

Joseph was allegedly involved in a disturbance outside a bar. 20-year-old Cameron Ray would end up fatally shot at the location the same night before being transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Joseph has since been cleared in the investigation. Now, the NFL will be forced to make a decision about a possible suspension for Joseph.

Joseph, who also goes by the rapper pseudonym “YKDV Bossman Fat,” was a second-round pick in the 2021 draft following his college career at LSU and Kentucky.

If Joseph was a sixth-round pick and not a second-round pick he would have been cut. His talent saved him and him snitching on his friends who did the killing. He is going to have to keep his head on a swivel in the streets and be a productive player on the field to keep his life and career alive.
