Things got heated in the stands during the San DIego Padres’ 1-0 loss against the San Francisco Giants. It’s not immediately clear what sparked the melee but at one point, a Padres fan is seen trying to kick a man down a row of stairs in what could’ve been a near fatal act.
Instead, the man managed to keep his balance and pulled the Padres fan down the row of stairs along with him. After trading blows, the men were separated by San Diego Police Department officers on duty at the game. According to a SDPD spokesperson, “security handled and two subjects were ejected. We were not made aware of fight until it was concluded.”
Padres bounced back with a walk-off homer in the next game.
