Adrian Peterson Only Paid $15k to Get Knocked Out By Le’Veon Bell

It should be noted this is the purse that was disclosed to the California Athletic Commission for tax purposes.

It is highly probable that because Adrian Peterson owes many people money, he took the bulk of his purse under the table.

Adrian Peterson has accomplished a lot during his illustrious NFL career. He’s also made a lot of money, but that figures to be the case when you’re one of the most dominant running back in the last 10 years or so.

However, even with all the money he’s made, Peterson has run into some financial troubles over the course of his career, and it’s no different of a situation now.

Things have only gotten worse in 2021 after a New York state judge ruled on Wednesday that Peterson must pay a Pennsylvania lender $8.3 million because of a loan he defaulted on, according to Daniel Kaplan of The Athletic. Peterson is said to have borrowed $5.2 million from the lender in 2016 and defaulted on his loan. The $8.3 million figure includes interest and late fees.

What I hope didn’t happen is that AP decided to take a cut of the PPV money instead is just being paid upfront. The PPV bombed, so there isn’t going to be a lot of money to spread around. $15k isn’t enough to get knocked out by Le’Veon Bell and become a meme.

For four rounds, not much happened in the exhibition fight between Le’Veon Bell and Adrian Peterson.

Then Le’Veon landed a massive right hand that had Adrian Peterson seeing stars.

The ref did the right thing in calling off the fight because Peterson had no idea where he was.

It is sad to see a legend go broke, but then again, Peterson beats his kids, so you can’t be too sad for him.

Flip the pages to see him get knocked out by Bell and the disclosed purses.
