Just like how everyone had opinions on Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars, it’s happening now in the case of Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka cheating on Nia Long. Everyone got opinions, and according to Jaylen Brown’s comments about the scandal, Udoka’s relationship with his staff member may not have been consensual.
Bro Bible got more;
When asked about the matter, Brown said that he wished he had more details on the situation. But what he said next may prove to be a PR nightmare for the Celtics.
Brown said that “it’s hard to make a decision whether it’s consensual or not,” regarding the relationship with Udoka and a team staff member.
Celtics majority owner Wyc Grousbeck said at a press conference last week that the team discovered a “volume of violations.” But Grousbeck did not specify what those violations were.
The lack of answers also led many media members to ask why Udoka was suspended rather than fired. The Celtics also did not address that question.
Brown’s answer presents the possibility that Udoka’s relationship(s) was not consensual. The Celtics would come under fire from a number of angles, should that prove to be true.
This is what happens when you don’t tell people the full story. They are forced to speculate.
The Celtics employee with whom Ime Udoka had an affair helped make all his travel arrangements … and that job sometimes included organizing travel for his fiancee, Nia Long.
Sources connected to the couple and the NBA franchise tell TMZ … one of the staffer’s duties included planning Udoka’s team-related travel, and we’re told she was also involved in booking travel for Nia to come to Boston or to road games.
Perhaps most upsetting for Nia is that the employee had a hand in Nia’s arrangements to move to Boston permanently, according to our sources.
TMZ broke the story … Nia had just moved east a little over 2 weeks ago with Key, her 10-year-old son with Ime.
The Celtics are not releasing the name of the employee, but we’re told Nia has been told who she is.
