In this clip, Matt Barnes gave his take on professional athletes being subjected to media criticism that goes beyond a critique of their games and rather attacks the person. This led DJ Vlad and the former NBA player to acknowledge that once someone becomes a professional athlete, they are also considered public figures and entertainers and will receive widespread acclaim and criticism.
Both men also pointed out that media members are also at risk of being confronted for the things they write or say during talk shows.
Skip speaks a lot about Westbrook because he knows he will react.

And in this case, I was so convinced I was speaking the truth that I can’t see how anyone couldn’t be on my side about what I tweeted at Russell Westbrook.”
