Russell Wilson isn’t doing well recently and in a viral video, Broncos players appeared to be complaining bitterly about his play on the sidelines during the MNF loss to the Chargers.
TPS has more;
Russell Wilson certainly didn’t endear himself to his teammates during his time in Seattle. And it appears as though he’s headed down a similar road in Denver.
During Monday Night Football, the Broncos suffered another crushing defeat, this time at the hands of the Los Angeles Chargers. And, once again, it was the offense that was clearly holding the team back.
Wilson and company looked like they had finally figured things out when they turned their first two drives of the game into points — with a field-goal on their first drive and a touchdown on their second — but it was pretty much goose eggs from there.
In fact, the only other points the Broncos would score was a fourth-quarter field-goal — prior to which they gained zero yards following a Justin Herbert interception at the Chargers’ 30-yard-line.
With things seemingly falling apart at the seam, it appeared as though some of the Broncos’ offensive superstars were voicing their displeasure with their new quarterback’s play on the sidelines during the 16-13 loss.
It’s very possible that they were complaining about Nathaniel Hackett’s play-calling. Or perhaps it was the fact that Gorden was benched for the entire game.
Either way, losing will bring out the ugly side of any team. And clearly, there’s plenty of “ugly” to this Denver Broncos team.
Mr. Unlimited is not the same player he used to be, even though he is being paid like it. The Broncos are stuck with him for multiple years now. Most of his old teammates in Seattle don’t like him and it looks like the same is happening in Denver, but on the bright side he has Ciara to twerk for him.
