Jared Goff had a really good season for the Lions.
So, good in fact that the Lions who seemed guaranteed to take a QB in this year’s draft my used that draft picks to upgrade their defense.
Goff has led a team to the Super Bowl (even though he had a horrible performance in that game), so the Lions know he is capable of getting to the biggest game.
His fiancee SI swimsuit model Christen Harper who stuck with him when he was traded from the Rams to the Lions expressed how proud she is of him.
Christen Harper bid farewell to a “bittersweet” NFL season in a touching tribute to her fiancé, Lions quarterback Jared Goff.
On Monday, one day after the Lions defeated the Packers, 20-16, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model took to Instagram, where she gushed over Goff in a post that included some of her favorite moments throughout the season.
“It’s always bittersweet when the season comes to an end,” Harper wrote in her caption. “I am so so proud of @jaredgoff and this entire team with everything they accomplished this season.
“Detroit is a special city and I feel so blessed to be along for this crazy adventure! #thatteam.”
Harper’s post featured photos with Goff, friends, and fellow Lions WAGs, including Kyndra Claire Decker, the wife of offensive tackle Taylor Decker, and Lucy Ragnow, the wife of center Frank Ragnow.
Although Detroit’s playoff hopes were crushed before their victory over Green Bay, the Lions head into the offseason with a sense of optimism. After starting the year at 1-6, the team rallied back to win eight of their final 10 games.
Harper has expressed her love for the city of Detroit on social media throughout the season, noting she enjoys the “change of pace” after living in Los Angeles. The couple relocated to Michigan after the Rams traded Goff for Matthew Stafford in January 2021.
Harper dropped some thirst traps to celebrate the season.
