LeBron James Calls Out ESPN For Having Fake Sources

The NBA season is winding down, and everything in the Western Conference playoff picture is crazy.

The only thing that we know is that the Nuggets will finish with the top seed. Every other seed from 2-10 will likely take til the last night of the season to figure out.

One team that needs to make some noise to make sure they’re at least in the play is the Lakers. They’ve dropped some games they should have won and currently sit at 10th in the West.

News broke early Thursday afternoon that LeBron James was reevaluated and that he planned on returning to the Lakers lineup in the last few games of the season. It would be a massive jolt to the Lakers, but with three games left in the season, it could be too late.

LeBron James is progressing toward a comeback from his right foot injury, and there is increasing optimism that the Los Angeles Lakers star could return to play “a few” games in the final week of the regular season, sources told ESPN on Thursday.

James, who suffered a tendon injury in his right foot Feb. 26 in Dallas, has resumed on-court activity and is on a “gradual basketball movement progression,” the Lakers announced Thursday.

The Lakers’ final three regular-season games are all in Los Angeles, against the Clippers on April 5, the Phoenix Suns on April 7 and the Utah Jazz on April 9.

It turns out, though, the news of him coming back then isn’t true. LeBron tweeted that there was no reevaluation today and no timetable for his return. He added that he is working around the clock to come back, though.

It could be read as he’s trying to come back sooner, and it could be read as he might not come back at all. Only time will tell.
