Michael Irvin is not taking this sexual assault allegation lying down, not by a long shot. TotalProSports has learned that rather than simply dropping the lawsuit against his accuser, it’s simply being re-filed in the state of Arizona. The information reportedly came from Irvin’s attorney, Levi McCathern.
The alleged incident took place at the Marriott Hotel last month, during the week of Super Bowl LVII. Irvin ended up being sent home due to claims from the hotel alleging that he touched a female employee’s arm without her consent. The man missed out on covering the Super Bowl with his colleagues, as a result.
Additionally, Irvin was also accused of attempting to touch the employee for a second time after asking her if she knew anything about “having a big Black man inside of [her].”
Irvin continued to maintain his innocence throughout this entire legal process. Not only that, but there’s reportedly proof that backs up his defense. His attorney McCathern reportedly leaked the surveillance footage that shows him interacting with the alleged victim. The video, which is nearly two minutes long, was posted to Twitter by Dallas reporter Steven Dial:

That video works completely against what Irvin’s accusers have alleged. They claimed that the woman had a visible look of concern on her face then attempted to pull away from him. It doesn’t appear to be all that concerned here. In fact, she even shakes his hand. What gets pointed out is a male, who is wearing a white hat, gets visibly upset with the alleged victim after she walks away from Irvin and over to him.
Is this allegation her way of saving face with this other male? Hard to say, but one thing that can be said for certain is that Michael Irvin appears to be innocent.
If anything it is the hotel manager that seems upset with the employee.
