Steven Adams Tried to Warn Ja Morant in Players Only Meeting About His Actions on The Road But Ja Didn’t Listen

It has not been a good last couple of weeks for Grizzlies star Ja Morant.

He is dealing with a lawsuit where he is accused of punching a 17-year-old 12-13 times and then showing his gun to the kid, was recently accused of intimidating a Finish Line employee with eight others after his mom got into an argument, and now he is dealing with the gun issue from over the weekend.

He was on IG live in a Colorado strip club brandishing a gun and has been suspended indefinitely by the Grizzlies, and things could be getting worse.

According to reports by Shams Charania, police and NBA are investigating the matter because Ja had a gun in a state he doesn’t live in, which would mean it isn’t licensed. The NBA has strict rules on having guns at team facilities and planes, which Ja would have had to do if he had brought the gun from Memphis to Colorado.

It could cause a lot of issues and severe discipline for Ja.

Before things happened over the weekend, the Grizzlies held a players-only meeting led by Steven Adams, who told the team they needed to be more disciplined on the road and be more focused. The reports say that everyone knew he was talking to Ja but it didn’t work because Ja went out anyways.

The only way Ja will learn is if there are some consequences for his actions. One of the problems, in my opinion, is that he has never gotten in trouble for all the things he has done previously. When that happens, you start to believe you are untouchable and walk around like you are Pac.

But no one is untouchable in this world, especially in this country, and Ja is finding that out the hard way right now.
