Jazz Juan Toscano-Anderson Blames Ja Morant’s Friends For Him Getting Caught Flashing Gun

Jazz player Juan Toscano-Anderson doesn’t understand why Ja Morant’s friends are always recording him to get him into trouble with the law. According to Juan, Ja’s friends are the “police” since they keep recording everything he does via VladTV;

Ja Morant was recently suspended from all activities related to the Memphis Grizzlies after he flashed a gun again while on Instagram Live. Many commented on the incident, including NBA player Juan Toscano-Anderson, who gave his real thoughts on the situation.

Via Twitter, the Utah Jazz player said, “Ja friends really the police. Why they always recording?” He continued saying, “If ppl got they phone out recording my privacy and private time-that’s a way to never be invited around me again. However, I am mature enough to understand accountability….. But why they always recording??????”

Anderson then took a moment to respond to Twitter users posing questions to him about his thoughts on Morant. From there, he gave one more statement related to the topic: “If you think I’m faulting anybody particularly, yo comprehension is subpar.”

Ja is looking at a long suspension from the league.

“Ja Morant is facing the very real possibility of a suspension, a lengthy suspension, to start next season after this latest incident when he had an apparent firearm in his possession,” ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported.

“This is twice in two months now,” Wojnarowski continued on the “NBA Countdown” show prior to 76ers-Celtics Game 7. “The league suspended him for eight games, retroactive to really just two games, earlier this season.”

The Grizzlies have already suspended Morant indefinitely from all team activities on Sunday, pending a review after being filmed on Instagram Live with an apparent firearm.

“I sense already today that [commissioner] Adam Silver is going to feel increasing pressure from other teams in the league who see this as much as it impacts the Grizzlies. It impacts their ability to market their players.”

Morant attended a short rehab counseling program in Florida during his eight-game suspension before returning to the team during the regular season.

While just having a gun is no crime, it has been other situations where Ja has been accused of being careless or threatening with his firearm that has gotten him in trouble with the league.
