Criminals these days have made the work of the police so easy that all police have to do is pick up their phones and scroll on Instagram to see culprits confessing to crimes on the platform to catch clout.
Three Florida young and insane individuals have been arrested by the police for armed robbery after they posted videos of themselves holding guns and seemingly hinting at committing the alleged robbery. The trio, a young female and two young men were seen on Instagram Live brandishing guns and being radical, and it appears not only their followers saw how odd the act was, a police officer watched the Live video and got the robbery hint, and then proceeded to track and further arrest them.
According to VladTV;
Three suspects in total have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery that was recorded and shared on social media.
Tyler Granum, 18, Kaya Burgos, 21, and Jayden Sanders, 18, have all been arrested and charged for the crime. Video circulating social media shows the three suspects pointing guns at the victim who can be seen pleading with his assailants.
Per NBC Miami, “Sanders had asked the victim if he wanted to come to the beach with some friends. When the victim entered the car, the suspects held a rifle and two semi-automatic firearms to his head, the report said.”
He was then demanded to hand over his belongings which included an iPhone, sneakers, gold chain, and a camera. Granum can be seen choking the victim and threatening to kill him in the video.
Eventually, the items were returned to the victim except for the gold chain. All three suspects were charged with armed robbery.
Cops would never have believed it if someone predicted that there would be a time when criminals would brag about their acts in public, and they would use that to arrest them without any rigorous investigations. Give it to Gen Z to make everything hassle-free.
