A thief was arrested after storming a phone repair shop in Florida and stealing 19 iPhones and $8,000 in cash and the fortunate news is that he was busted by the police. According to the report, the thief wore a box on his head during the burglary.

Once again, Florida is in the news as a man wearing a box on his head attempted to rob a phone repair store.
The incident was caught on tape and occurred around 4 AM on Saturday (June 3) in Miami Gardens. The surveillance footage showed the man wearing a box on his head after walking into the store and smashing a glass case shortly after. From there, the man could be seen grabbing a bunch of iPhones and throwing them into a bag. However, he made a choice to lift the box from over his head to see what he was grabbing, which proved to be a mistake, as his face was fully shown.
The store owner—Jeremias Berganza, spoke to NBC 6 South Florida, saying the thief took off with 19 iPhones and $8,000 in cash. The thief wasn’t able to get far, as police looked at security footage to see how far the man went. They eventually caught up with thief at a local liquor store while he was drinking with other people. As a result, he was arrested. The name of the suspect has yet to be released.
