The deal would be for a single year, but the French superstar might still sign with Real Madrid in 2024. After receiving a record-breaking offer from Al Hilal of approximately $332 million, Paris Saint-Germain has given Kylian Mbappe permission to discuss personal terms with the Saudi Arabian organisation. According to James Benge of CBS Sports, the French champions have notified the 24-year-old that he is free to speak with the Saudi Pro League team about a hefty salary package totaling $776 million. This deal puts him beyond the realms of any sports transfer even imagined by someone and way beyond what Lebron James has made in his NBA career.
The main component of Al Hilal’s proposal is that Mbappe would still be free to sign with Real Madrid in 2024, which PSG believes has already been settled with a rumored $178 million signing bonus.
While his colleagues are in Japan as part of an Asian summer tour that he is not a part of, the French superstar is in Paris training with other undesired Parisian players.
PSG’s stance is unchanged: If Mbappe extends his current contract until its 2024 expiration date, he can stay and continue to work on the project. The former Monaco employee has already told his current employers that he will not, under any circumstances, exercise the option to extend his contract until 2025.
Does the Saudi offer reek of some hoax?
The Public Investment Fund is backed, yes. Al Hilal want to make Mbappe their most eye-catching acquisition to date. The Saudi powerhouses were Lionel Messi’s club before the renowned Argentine decided to join Inter Miami. Given the scale of the prospective transfer fee and the potential personal terms on offer, this would be a completely new level for Saudi Pro league clubs, who have been spending a lot of money this summer. This is the ideal situation for PSG, who run the risk of losing him for nothing next summer, something they are adamant about preventing.
After signing his most recent two-year agreement with the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James will earn the most money in NBA history
According to Rich Paul of Klutch Sports, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, James agreed to a two-year, $97.1 million deal agreement on Wednesday that includes a player option for 2024–25. With the guaranteed money, he surpasses Kevin Durant in terms of league history’s highest earnings:
The two-year, $97.1M extension, which includes a 15 percent trade kicker, makes LeBron James the highest earning player in NBA history with $532M in guaranteed money. He surpasses Brooklyn’s Kevin Durant. pic.twitter.com/UUHMspiKZp

According to Spotrac, James has made $387 million in his first 19 seasons in the NBA. In 2022–23, which might have been the last season of his deal with the Lakers, he is scheduled to earn $44.5 million, but his most recent contract will see him earn an additional $48.6 million annually.
Even with such a lucrative deal , it is astounding that Lebron James being one of the most popular athlete in the world , can’t surpass or probably will never what Mbappe is said to have received as an offer from Saudis.
Me headed to Saudi when they call @RichPaul4 & @mavcarter for that 1 year deal! ✌🏾🤷🏾♂️😁 pic.twitter.com/IX0VSMZYNb
