Conor McGregor Threatens To ‘End’ UFC Fighter Who Is Already On a Six Fight Losing Streak

Conor McGregor has aimed shots at firmer UFC Interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson, vowing to end him ‘badly’ inside the cage.

McGregor, who is slated to return and face Michael Chandler, has teased potential future opponents too in the past few weeks. From Justin Gaethje to Nate Diaz, ‘Notorious’ appears to be competing with several more UFC fighters as per his claims.

Meanwhile, Conor McGregor also seems interested in facing ‘El Cucuy’ Ferguson, who has lost all of his last six fights.

Following his sixth consecutive UFC loss against Bobby Green, Ferguson was expected to hang up his gloves. However, he took to social media and hinted at remaining active.

In response, Conor McGregor wrote, “I’m gonna end you badly. I have not forgot.”

Both Conor McGregor and Tony Ferguson have had their last wins against Donald Cerrone. Ferguson beat Cerrone in 2019 which was his 12th straight win in the UFC.

The legendary win-tack ended horribly as Tony Ferguson went on to lose his next six against Justin Gaethje, Charles Oliveira, Beneil Dariush, Michael Chandler, Nate Diaz, and Bobby Green.

Meanwhile, Conor McGregor knocked out Donald Cerrone in 2020. He then suffered two consecutive defeats against Dustin Poirier and hasn’t returned yet. While McGregor vs Ferguson can be booked, it may not happen anytime soon.

When Can Conor McGregor Return To The UFC?

UFC President Dana White mentioned recently working on McGregor vs Chandler, which can happen possibly in 2024. Hence, UFC 296 wasn’t cited to be a return event for the Irishman, which McGregor agreed upon.

That said, Conor McGregor’s recent social media post claims that he will return in December, which makes UFC 296 valid again. However, the UFC is yet to announce it from their end. The speculations regarding McGregor’s return remain but looks likely to happen shortly.

As for now, it’s hard to note which UFC PPV will he select.
